Mission & Vision

Spectraline's vision is to be at the leading edges of high-speed spectroscopy for industrial process monitoring and research in a variety of fields.

Company Profile & History

Spectraline Inc. was formed as a spin-off in 1999 from parent company, En'Urga Inc. Spectraline's inception came from a need for a separate entity that would apply En'Urga's expertise in combustion research, to develop innovative products and bring them to the marketplace, under the Spectraline brand name.

The first Mid-Infrared Imaging Spectrometer was designed and built for NASA under a SBIR grant by En'Urga Inc. Since then, the technology was developed for research and industrial applications by Spectraline- under license from En'Urga Inc. Spectraline is the embodiment of world-renowned expertise in infrared emission spectroscopy, statistical methods, and analytical instrumentation.

Two new products, the ES 100 Mid-IR imaging spectrometer, later replaced by the ES200; and, the LS 100 Line Scan camera were introduced in 1999. The LS 200 Line Scan Camera was introduced in 2000. Our latest product, the VS 100 Visible spectrometer was introduced in 2008.

En'Urga Inc. is well known for its expertise in combustion research and optical diagnostics. En'Urga Inc. and Spectraline Inc. are located in the Purdue University Research Park's Business and Technology Center. Since its founding in 1994, En'Urga has carried out sponsored research for government agencies and industry worth several million dollars and developed a range of products and technologies.
